Start with the room and project record
Record the project name, site address, contact, target space, and whether the work is new construction, renovation, replacement, or accessories only. A clear location helps identify delivery and project-review questions; it does not replace a site survey or approved drawings.
Capture the partition opening and walls
- Measure the clear overall opening and each wall return.
- Note whether the layout is between walls, in a corner, in an alcove, or free-standing.
- Photograph wall surfaces, floor transitions, obstructions, and any existing anchors or headrails.
- Identify conditions that need project-specific confirmation, including finished-wall thickness, floor finish, ceiling structure, and uneven surfaces.
Record fixtures and circulation
- Mark fixture centerlines and the clear location of toilets, urinals, sinks, doors, and adjacent accessories.
- Identify any compartment that may require accessibility review without claiming compliance from a preliminary measurement.
- Note door swing, approach space, and any site condition that could affect mounting or privacy selections.
Include the details that help a quote
Send the latest plan sheet or sketch, approximate compartment and screen count, material direction if known, preferred mounting style, finish direction, accessory list, delivery address, and target schedule. Photos and dimensions improve planning, but final field conditions, manufacturer requirements, and project documents control the final configuration.
Next step
Upload the plan, sketch, or photos with a Partition Stalls quote request. The team will confirm the open dimensions, selected system, accessories, freight, taxes, availability, delivery, installation scope, and final pricing in the written quote.
