How to choose

Start with four practical questions.

01

Budget

Balance initial material cost with the expected life and maintenance of the restroom.

02

Moisture

Dry offices, humid locker rooms, and washdown areas need different material performance.

03

Traffic

Match durability to user volume, supervision, cleaning, and potential abuse.

04

Appearance

Coordinate color, texture, profile, and hardware with the rest of the building.

Each page explains the main benefits, best uses, environment, maintenance, and information needed to quote that material.

Mounting options

Choose how the system is supported.

The right mounting style depends on the floor, ceiling, structure, appearance, and maintenance goals.

01

Overhead-Braced

A widely used commercial configuration with floor-supported pilasters connected by an overhead rail for lateral stability.

02

Floor-Anchored

Pilasters are anchored at the floor without an overhead rail, creating a cleaner open line above the compartments.

03

Ceiling-Hung

Partition components are supported from above, leaving the finished floor below the pilasters visually open and easier to access during routine floor care.

04

Floor-to-Ceiling

Pilasters connect at both floor and ceiling, creating a vertically continuous support condition for demanding layouts.

Privacy options

Choose the level of visual privacy.

Available privacy details vary by manufacturer, material, mounting style, and project conditions. We can help identify which configurations should be quoted.

01

Standard

A conventional commercial partition layout with standard door, panel, and pilaster clearances.

02

Enhanced Sightline Coverage

Manufacturer-specific trim or filler components can help reduce visible gaps around doors and pilasters.

03

Extended Height

Taller doors and panels can provide greater visual separation when the selected material and mounting system support it.
